Hello, I’m Dr. Wathsadani Wijayasundara, founder of Bubbles & Beyond.
I’m a medical doctor, a mother of two, and someone who has always found joy in creating.
I grew up in a family with three generations of Ayurvedic doctors. From a young age, I watched my father and family prepare traditional Ayurvedic oils and herbal preparations. Although I chose Western medicine as my profession, that knowledge and respect for traditional practices have always stayed with me.
Bubbles & Beyond began from a very personal need. When my daughter was young, she had very dry and sensitive skin, and I wanted something gentler for her everyday cleansing.
That curiosity led me to handmade soap making — learning, experimenting and developing my own formulations using carefully selected oils, butters and botanical ingredients.
What began as something I made for my daughter slowly grew into Bubbles & Beyond.
Where we are today
What began with handmade soap has gradually grown into a wider collection of bathing and body-care products.
Today, Bubbles & Beyond products are made in an ISO 22716-certified Cosmetic GMP facility and a Registered Ayurvedic Manufacturing Centre in Sri Lanka.
As we grow, I continue to develop our products with the same approach I started with — understanding the ingredients, keeping our formulations purposeful, and creating products that feel good to use.
We believe in transparency, quality, and creating products we would feel confident using for our own families. We want to carry that same standard beyond our home and share it with others, always leading with purpose and integrity.
